This site is dedicated to the memory of Isabel Correia Duzkan.

Isabel Correia Duzkan was born in West Mid hospital, Hounslow on October 16, 2013. She was diagnosed with an ependymoma brain tumour at 3 weeks old. Isabel went through several operations and fought through them all like the fighter she was. One of her last operations, the biggest one of all, the surgeon removed 40% off the 7cm tumour and it went really well. She was slowly recovering but then became ill again. An MRI was done and it showed that the tumour had begun growing on the right side. Sadly, the doctors weren't able to help her any longer. We were transferred to the shooting star chase hospice on Sunday 23rd March to spend our last few days with her. The morning after arriving at the hospice, Isabel became really unwell throughout the day. She passed away peacefully in my arms at 3:30am on the 25th March 2014.
Isabel was an inspiration to me. She made myself and her daddy stronger and we were so lucky to have such a beautiful brave baby girl. We love and miss her endlessly and we know she is at peace now, watching over us.
